Role:
We are looking for a
Senior Mechanical Engineer
to join our growing team!
In collaboration with our engineering, production, and R&D teams, you'll use your technical expertise to
design, develop, and improve mechanical systems
for passenger train doors and related subsystems.
You'll take part in
all stages of product development
-- from design and prototyping to testing and production support -- while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within our engineering group.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop
mechanical systems and assemblies
for railway applications.
Create and review
2D and 3D technical drawings
using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Draft and maintain project-related
technical documentation
.
Conduct
technical research
to identify and select mechanical and electrical components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure
design feasibility and manufacturability
.
Support production teams during the
launch of new products
.
Participate in
R&D and continuous improvement
projects.
Occasionally travel (10-15%) to Canada, the U.S., Europe, or Asia for project follow-ups.

Requirements:
You:
Have your
BAC in mechanical engineering
with a minimum of
8 years
of experience
Have a good knowledge of
SolidWorks
and
AutoCAD
Are
autonomous
but also able to work in
team
with
technical judgment
, practical sense,
creativity
and with a large
attention to the details
Are known to be
persuasive
, a
leader
and
motivator
who
adapts easily to changes
Are
perfectly bilingual
The candidate must also be
willing to travel
occasionally to Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia (approximately 10-15%)
