Job Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Mechanical Drafter to join our engineering team. This role is pivotal in drafting parts and structures for our hydraulic presses, enhancing efficiency and precision in our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with design engineers to convert engineering designs into detailed CAD drawings suitable for fabrication, ensuring all designs meet the highest standards of accuracy and functionality. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a dynamic environment, making significant contributions to the manufacturing of heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:



Create detailed CAD drawings for manufacturing designed parts and mechanisms used in hydraulic presses, ensuring adherence to specified technical guidelines and industry standards. Work closely with engineering teams to translate conceptual designs into practical, workable drafting plans. Participate in project meetings to provide drafting expertise and insights. Maintain accurate records and documentation of design drafts, revisions, and specifications, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accessible for reference and compliance. Conduct regular quality checks on drawings to ensure precision and compliance with project requirements and functionality. Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly phases, ensuring designs are correctly interpreted and implemented. Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and drafting techniques, incorporating best practices and innovations into drafting processes to enhance productivity and accuracy. Manage and organize CAD files and resources using project management and collaborative tools to ensure smooth workflow across departments.

Qualifications



Associate's degree in mechanical engineering technology, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in CAD drafting, particularly in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in SolidWorks. Familiarity with 3D modelling and the ability to produce detailed technical drawings and specifications. Understanding of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing and engineering. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to create accurate and error-free drawings that meet technical specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineering teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with precision and adherence to deadlines. Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new tools and software used in Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to collaborative efforts and sharing expertise when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
