We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to spearhead the design and development of high-performance custom automation systems. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, bringing innovative mechanical solutions to life while driving efficiency, precision, and reliability in every project.
Your Impact

• Take ownership of new equipment designs and upgrades to existing systems.

• Transform ideas into reality through concept development, 3D CAD (SolidWorks), and detailed drafting in AutoCAD.

• Perform hands-on engineering analysis, including force, torque, speed, and thermal calculations.

• Improve the performance of mechanical systems with creative, practical solutions.

• Play an active role in design reviews, cross-team collaboration, and project planning.

• Support, mentor, and guide junior engineers and designers.

• Maintain accurate documentation and oversee drawing file systems.

• Act as a connector between engineering, manufacturing, and procurement.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within automation or machine building.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related).

• Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks is a strong asset).

• Expertise in GD&T, pneumatics, servo motors, and machine shop practices.

• Familiarity with PDM systems for document control.

• Strong problem-solving skills paired with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
