AstraZeneca\xe2\x80\x99s Vaccine and Immune therapy business unit is an exciting and growing portfolio of medicines to prevent and/or treat many common infectious diseases including; COVID-19, Influenza, and RSV.

The Position \xe2\x80\x93 Senior Marketing Manager, Vaccine and Immune Therapies

Your role in helping protect the most vulnerable Canadians.

Lead the cross-functional team to build the strategic plan, the customer experience plan and capabilities to ensure broad access and implementation of AZ infectious disease portfolio.

Improve the forward-thinking potential of the portfolio through cross-functional development and execution of the Brand Strategy, Positioning, Segmentation and Operational Plans

Collaborate with Medical and Global Stakeholders, lead the development of strategies and plans for future indications and pipeline medicines

Lead key account management process across commercial, medical and access field teams to drive public health and hospital based engagement plans

Create and maintain network of customer/KEE contacts and AstraZeneca Global colleagues to share new insights and ongoing pre-launch planning input

Work collaboratively with the Patient Value, Access and Policy Team to navigate the reimbursement & procurement process to successfully secure and optimize patient access to therapy

Uphold a best-in-class commercial approach and cultivate an inclusive high-performance environment that values and leverages diversity

Lead the long range planning and forecasting for the Vaccine and immune therapy portfolio

Responsible for collecting and reporting Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures

Qualifications

University degree in science and/or business

Specialty care Marketing experience is preferred, including vaccines, virology, biologics, and oncology

Minimum of 1-year of pre-launch brand marketing (2 to 5 years pre-launch) is preferred

Experience building and delivering digital strategies including unbranded and branded campaigns

Commercial competence: strong critical thinking and planning skills with ability to implement plans with excellence while managing budget responsibilities & inputting into forecast assumptions

Successful history of cross-functional team leadership with well-developed understanding of regulatory and payer environments

Experienced collaborator with inclusive leadership style and proven ability to work successfully within a diverse team

Proven strong influencing skills and communication skills
