Primary Focus:
Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for the marketing strategies to promote the Nine Locks brand(s). Accountable for brand strategy and development, media planning, purchasing media, campaign planning and execution, ad development, sponsorship and event management and all aspects social media including planning, purchasing, and content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
Creatively develops and maintains all Nine Locks' brands by planning and executing marketing including media buying, creative development, and creative execution.
Oversees product names and packaging design, ensuring ongoing market penetration
Oversees social media strategy including website design and maintenance
Works and collaborates with sales staff and other team members on events and trade shows.
Executes marketing plans including media buying, creative development, and campaign execution
Manages social media strategy, planning, content creation, and responses to customer inquiries
Manges the development of marketing promotional support materials, including sales collateral, retail signage, and merchandising
Manages the development of graphic design for products
Manges external marketing partners including external marketing agencies
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or equivalent experience
Design education is recommended
Experience:
7 - 10 years of related experience in marketing in brand strategy, content creation, media planning, and social media management
Prior experience in graphic design is an asset
Policies & Compliance:
Knowledge of NSLC marketing policies
Familiarity with Canadian food labeling requirements
Adherence to effective marketing and communications practices
Physical Effort:
Occasional event set-up and tear down (10-50 lbs)
Occasional delivery of promotional materials (0-20 lbs)
