As a newly formed TELUS Consumer Solutions (TCS) Marketing Communications team, we\'re looking for a savvy, innovative, experienced individual to help shape the future of our SmartHome Communications portfolio. Working collaboratively with a team of talented marketing experts, you will partner with our advertising agencies and internal stakeholders in delivering world-class solutions and performance, in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Here\'s the impact you\'ll make and what we\'ll accomplish together

Working lockstep with your TCS Marketing Communication team members, TELUS\' Go-to-Market, Products & Services, and Digital teams, you will be responsible for developing the future communications platform for TELUS SmartHome, TELUS SmartWear Security and one other soon -to-be-announced emerging portfolio. In this role you will own the MarComm portfolio for specific lines of business from ideation to execution, across all paid and unpaid media tactics.

  • Create best-in-class communications platforms for TELUS\' newest services
  • Drive efficient customer acquisition through meaningful tactics, Ensuring our business is achieving its goals
  • Build awareness of TELUS\' home services in Eastern Canada
  • Actively manage and contribute to healthy and energized agency relationships
  • Collaborate with our paid media team to improve brand favorability, consideration, recall and ultimately conversion for continued, Rapid growth of the SmartHome, SmartWear and other portfolios
  • Play role in maintaining and evolving the TCS MarComm team\'s industry leading culture
Qualifications

You\'re the missing piece of the puzzle
  • 5+ years experience in Marketing Communications
  • Proven track record of end-to-end campaign and program management
  • Known for building meaningful and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to recognize strong, breakthrough creative & messaging
  • Noted for your focus on using data to drive decisions, driving continual improvements
  • Ability to oversee large budgets and manage performance to targets
  • A continuous learner who keeps up to date on emerging marketing trends and tools
  • A natural storyteller, with the proven ability to communicate effectively with leadership in forums, formal presentations and written communications (SVP/EVP level)
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments & stakeholders to push projects forward
  • A pervasive optimistic individual who embraces change, innovates courageously, believes in spirited teamwork, and always puts the customer first.
Great-to-haves
  • Ad Agency experience
  • GTM or Products & Service experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing or Commerce (or equivalent experience)
  • Project or program management experience
