Our ideal candidate will develop customer communication journeys, automations and personalization. Additionally, they will provide thought leadership for how Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other marketing technologies can be used to scale Loblaw Digital\'s digital growth.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Define data criteria, working with various data team to import and identify system or field needs, as well as develop testing scenarios.
  • Create data extensions for journey ingestion, segmentation and dynamic content for email, SMS and MobilePush.
  • Write SQL queries and use automation activities pull data from multiple sources for use in customer communications
  • Test & build journeys, triggered sends and automations using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget)
  • Provide solutions and automate workflow processes needed to support customer experiences and future growth
  • Collaborate with Product & Marketing teams to implement, maintain and optimize marketing technology products, including API setup, calls and testing.
  • Monitor data, triggered email health, and 3rd party integration functionality. Investigate and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Intelligence and Data Science teams on various marketing technology projects and Marketing Cloud related solutioning.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in an analytical field required (Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.).
  • 4+ years of technical experience in email marketing and technical solutioning in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget).
  • 6+ years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, market research or equivalent.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Automation Studio: File Imports, UI Sends, SQL Queries, Verification Activity, Script Activities, Data Extracts, File Transfers
  • Experience with configuration of customer Journeys: Setting up journeys powered by SQL activities in Automation Studio or API.
  • Experience setting up triggered emails & firm understanding of API triggered messages
  • Fluency in HTML to debug emails, advanced HTML coding skills considered a plus.
  • Proficient with SQL (Intermediate - joins, data formatting, etc.), AMPScript, CSS, (SSJS a plus).
  • Salesforce Consultant Certification or a strong Trailhead history a plus.
  • Experience with SMS, MobilePush, microsites and landing pages is ideal. Experience with In-App messaging considered a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Hands-on problem solver who takes initiative and focuses on \'getting stuff done\'.
