We are seeking a highly analytical and technical Senior Marketing Analytics Specialist to serve as a key expert in data integrity, reporting, and actionable insight generation across our marketing ecosystem. This role will be crucial in measuring the effectiveness of all media spend, maintaining accurate tracking across platforms, and contributing to advanced measurement projects like Media Mix Modeling (MMM). The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in Google Analytics and the technical mechanics of digital advertising tracking.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consulting & Presentation:

Client Relationship Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all measurement, tracking, and reporting topics. Presenting Findings: Clearly articulate complex analysis, reporting insights, and strategic recommendations (including Media Mix Modeling (MMM) findings) to clients and C-level stakeholders, translating data into tangible business impact. Strategic Guidance: Advise clients on best practices for marketing attribution, GA4 migration, and overall data hygiene to ensure their measurement infrastructure supports their business goals.
Client Measurement & Data Integrity (The Technical Core):

Multi-Client GA Management: Serve as the hands-on expert for Google Analytics 4 (GA4) across multiple client accounts, ensuring consistent, best-practice implementation, account configuration, and robust goal/conversion tracking. Cross-Platform Tagging: Own the setup, testing, and maintenance of all marketing tracking tags, including various DSP pixels/tags (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360, Meta, etc.), and other vendor trackers using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and other tag management providers as necessary. Platform Liaison: Understand the data structure and tracking requirements of diverse client environments, including various e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, custom), website hosting solutions, reservation, and ticketing systems. Technical Troubleshooting: Proactively audit, diagnose, and resolve reporting discrepancies and data collection issues across media, web analytics, and client back-end systems.
Reporting, Insights & Client Strategy:

Standardized Reporting: Develop, maintain, and automate scalable performance reports and dashboards that clearly communicate results to clients and internal account teams. Actionable Recommendations: Partner closely with media buyers and account managers to analyze campaign performance and transform data into clear, actionable media optimization strategies tailored to each client's specific business goals. Media Mix Modeling (MMM) Support: Prepare, clean, and validate all media spend and key data inputs required for Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and other advanced attribution projects for our larger clients.
Agency & Industry Leadership:

Expert Consulting: Serve as the agency's internal consultant on data integrity, attribution, and measurement best practices for client onboarding and new campaign launches. Knowledge Transfer: Stay current with privacy changes (e.g., cookieless), platform updates (GA4 migrations), and industry trends, educating internal teams and clients as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience: [3+ / 5+] years of experience in a dedicated analytics, reporting, or measurement role, preferably within a digital media agency environment. GA Expertise: Expert-level, hands-on experience with configuration, administration, and reporting in Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Technical Proficiency: High proficiency with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and a functional understanding of JavaScript, data layers, and necessary tracking elements for complex client websites. Ad Tech Fluency: Solid understanding of how tracking works across major ad platforms, including DSP tag implementation and reconciliation of data sources. Modeling Familiarity: Foundational knowledge of Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and experience with data preparation for advanced marketing attribution methods. Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and strategic implications to clients.

Job Type: Full-time Location: Vancouver, hybrid three days a week in office Compensation Range: $75,000-$90,000 annually with full benefits
