The TELUS Business Marketing (TBM) team is a dynamic, entrepreneurial and engaged team responsible for bringing innovative commercial business products and services to market while delivering exceptional experiences in our sales journey for customers. Our goal is to ensure buyers are aware of our latest product and service offerings to support their business, and that our sales channels can articulate the value of our solutions to our customers.

We work with TELUS strategy, product and pricing teams to build thoughtful go-to-market strategy, planning and execution including: supporting new product and service launches, issuing clear communications to drive sales for our commercial business, building compelling collateral, designing sales campaigns, and launching digital marketing programs.

Reporting to the Manager, Product Marketing, we are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Marketing Manager who can leverage their marketing, digital and go-to-market experience to differentiate, elevate and promote TELUS Business products and services for our commercial segment.

What you\'ll do:

  • Lead cross-functional projects and programs throughout the year independently
  • Build strong working relationships with cross functional teams to understand and market upcoming product and pricing launches
  • Develop new value propositions for our commercial business solutions to make it easy for sales and customers to choose the appropriate products for their specific needs
  • Manage and write multiple communications across our business sales channels and product categories
  • Work with teams across business segments to strategize, create and enhance how your portfolio is marketed through our digital channels
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create a roadmap for new, and enhance existing go-to-market sales collateral for both internal team members and customers; maintain publishing these resources within our internal sales tools
  • Take part in both standard operational projects and competitive responses in the marketplace
  • Maintain a keen understanding of our customers, the competitive landscape, market trends, technology, offerings, and our internal strategies and capabilities
  • Present plans and results to leadership teams
Qualifications

  • Team player and collaborator with the ability to build relationships with peers, cross-functional stakeholders and vendor partners
  • Holistic marketing mindset with a strong understanding of the business, what makes an effective go-to-market plan, combined with a passion for delivering a seamless sales and customer journey
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to extract information as required and/or simplify complex issues for the purpose of building simple, yet informative communications
  • Ability to think strategically and critically about ways to enhance and elevate your portfolio
  • You enjoy taking on new challenges, simplifying the complex and distilling problems in manageable parts to determine an optimal solution
  • Highly developed planning and organization skills that account for changing needs across the organization
  • Strong problem solver with an ability to think critically, solve problems with facts and data, and propose creative solutions and recommendations
  • Project leadership/management experience including: aligning teams on a vision, goals, strategy and responsibilities to reach a collective destination while keeping contributors and stakeholders on track during each step
  • Trusted business partner with a flexible communication style to motivate and influence all levels of decision makers and team members
Great to have
  • Post-secondary degree in Business or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, marketing communications, product management, management consulting or operations role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google suite
  • Ability to effectively and independently manage projects and stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship-building and people skills combined with sound judgment
  • Strong business acumen and analytical ability
  • A proven track record of delivering results
  • Cross-functional execution ability
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written and presentation
  • Flexibility and adaptability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-growth organization
  • Bilingualism is an asset
