Job Title Senior Manager, Trusts



What is the opportunity?

RBC Royal Trust is looking for a proven leader, who will manage the day-to-day operations of a team to achieve business goals. As a Senior Manager for Trusts, you will manage and lead teams of 2 or more specialized departments comprised of supervisors, managers, professionals, and/or large numbers of operational support employees.

What will you do?

Responsible for the management of the Royal Trust - Trust team for the Region.

Assists the Regional VP to manage the overall regional team by providing direction, technical support, coaching and development of employees to provide quality client service and improve business profitability.

A team player, manager and leader at the regional and local level who will also be responsible for improving business growth with internal and external Centres of Influence (COIs).

Works with Senior Management - Risk Management to assist in the implementation of risk management initiatives (Example: Dashboard management, business acceptance).

Works with Associate Director, Client Experience to ensure implementation of client centric service models.

Overall accountability to manage client relationships and administration for the Trusts accounts.

Develops relationships within RBC network and community partners to capture client opportunities through referrals. Promotes the collaboration between the team, RBC network and Wealth Management partners.

Successfully maximizes the deployment, productivity and effectiveness of all team members for greatest gain in revenue and client loyalty in their market.

Must Have

7-10 years of Leadership Excellence (Employee Capability & Engagement), preferably in Trust & Estates

Advanced knowledge in personal trust products and services

Strong communication skills and exceptional service to clients

Ability to accelerate business results

Exceptional operational and risk management

Nice to Have

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) proficiency

Ability to execute business goals in a timely manner

Strong people development skills
