Job Description


As a Senior Manager, Terminal Supply and Contracts Administration you will be responsible for the management of product supply through proprietary Marine Terminals, Third Party Terminals and other supply points such as Refineries. Your goal will be to help to increase profits and minimize losses as products move from ship discharge or third-party supply points to internal or external customers from the terminal.

Your Responsibilities:

Assist in strategic planning and plan implementation through investigating methods of streamlining business processes, identifying infrastructure improvement opportunities, identify opportunities for supply chain optimization and identify opportunities to enhance tools and technology in the areas of terminal supply.

Approve forecasting for terminal re-supply from information gathered by team members (monthly, annual, turnaround and 5 year planning).

Analyze financial reports to allow for trend recognition to identify problems or areas requiring improvement.

Provide leadership through communication, training, career development and performance feedback to the Terminal Supply Team to maximize their skills and knowledge. Enhance departmental productivity, impacting the bottom line and ensure efficient and effective utilization of our human resources.

Effectively negotiate contractual relationships with third party supply and exchange partners.

Act as the supply chain specialist to optimize and improve logistics efficiency and support customer experience.

Attend conferences and travel to support and expand the Irving Oil network of supply points.

Work with the Contracts Admin Team to coordinate counter contracts for review and prepare appropriate counterparty contractual response at trader\xe2\x80\x99s request. Ensure counter contracts are reviewed, highlighting any discrepancies; present to Trader for review and follow up.

Manage the operational execution of the commercial arrangements for product supply and exchange with third party companies in both Canada and US as well as related logistics related to Renewables required within proprietary network to meet compliance.

Your Experience:

Post-secondary education \xe2\x80\x93 preferably with a focus in Business and/or Finance. An Undergraduate degree in engineering is beneficial

5-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Supply and Trading is required

Minimum of 3+ years\' management/supervisory experience
