Introduction
We are seeking a Manager, Technical Sales Support Life Cycle Service to join our Life Cycle Services (LCS) Team. You will be responsible for managing, supporting, and developing the Technical Sales Support (TSS) LCS team in North and Central America (NCA). The primary focus for this role lies in defining, estimating, proposing, negotiating, and selling of LCS offerings. LCS offerings consist of converting customer needs into a bespoke technical and commercial solution that delivers a desired outcome. This position is mainly located in Lachine. QC, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. however, it involves up to 30% domestic travel.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of Life Cycle Service experts requiring a strong understanding of Metsos aftermarket portfolio and efficient coordination of support from related Metso product lines. Moreover, the role is responsible for the maintaining the order intake and growth forecast along with retaining existing business when contracts near expiration.
What youll do
Manage, support, and develop the TSS LCS team in NCA. Define LCS concepts collaboratively with the respective sales organizations to meet customers needs or desired outcomes. Support the TSS team in creating LCS estimates and proposals using appropriate Integrated Service Solutions (ISS) templates. Ensure that the LCS offerings prepared by the team are technically, commercially, and legally acceptable to Metso. Negotiate LCS offers with support from Site Account Manager and Legal Team while ensuring Metso must have clauses are respected. Drive contract renewals collaboratively with the respective sales organization to ensure existing business is retained. Ensure any deviations to Metso must have clauses get approved appropriately. Work closely with Business Line heads for customization of commercial terms. Building, developing, and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders such as but not limited to the Sales Organization, Product Lines, ISS Organization, Legal, etc. Travel on short notice to meet with customers is at times required.
Who you are
Experience in contract negotiations. A proven track record of selling complex solutions. A strong understanding of executing complex solutions. Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time, and organizing, prioritizing tasks, decision making and working in a fast-paced environment. Capability to articulate and communicate topics within the area of expertise to all levels of the organization with appropriate business acumen. Ability to collect data & information to make strategic analysis & recommendations. A high level of computer skills is essential - Excel, Word, Power Point, Salesforce, SAP, etc. Valid passport for international travel and drivers license for local travel must be maintained. Must be fluent in English and French.
