Gestionnaire principal des ventes

, vous fournirez une orientation strategique et un leadership progressif afin d'atteindre les objectifs de ventes et de rentabilite dans plusieurs sites ou dans un site de grande envergure generant un chiffre d'affaires superieur a 50 millions de dollars ou presentant une complexite importante. Vous concevrez et recommanderez des programmes de vente et de marketing, tout en definissant des strategies de vente a court et a long terme. Vous gererez une equipe de collaborateurs directs ayant generalement des responsabilites manageriales.


Responsabilites :



Elaborer et gerer les plans de vente afin d'assurer la satisfaction des clients, l'atteinte des quotas attribues, la fidelisation de comptes de reference et le maintien d'un personnel hautement qualifie et motive. Collaborer avec le marketing pour developper et mettre en oeuvre des programmes et initiatives de vente et de marketing. Determiner le plan annuel de ventes et de benefices bruts en appliquant les strategies marketing et en analysant les tendances et resultats. Etablir les objectifs de vente en prevoyant et en developpant les quotas par territoire. Prevoir le volume de ventes et les profits attendus pour les gammes de produits et les clients existants ou nouveaux. Maintenir le volume des ventes, la composition des produits et les prix de vente en suivant l'evolution de l'offre et de la demande, des tendances du marche, des indicateurs economiques et de la concurrence. Coordonner le service des commandes en dirigeant les representants et responsables de comptes sur les devis, propositions, gestion de projets et resolution des plaintes clients. Determiner et ajuster les marges de facturation en surveillant les couts, la concurrence et les conditions du marche, et en negociant les niveaux de couts. Gerer le personnel de vente en recrutant, selectionnant, integrant et formant les employes. Maintenir la performance de l'equipe de vente en encadrant les employes, en planifiant, suivant et evaluant les resultats. Developper et entretenir des relations avec les principaux clients. Maintenir ses connaissances professionnelles et techniques en participant a des ateliers de formation, en consultant des publications specialisees et en participant a des associations professionnelles. Prevoir et communiquer des informations detaillees aux cadres superieurs de l'entreprise. Collaborer avec les services internes pour garantir une experience client positive. Travailler avec les fournisseurs pour maintenir les relations clients, former le personnel et mettre en oeuvre les programmes et initiatives marketing. Collaborer avec differents services internes pour resoudre les problemes lies a l'inventaire et aux operations.

Qualifications :



Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou equivalent requis ; baccalaureat en

ventes, administration des affaires, ingenierie ou domaine connexe

prefere. Minimum

3 ans d'experience

en gestion d'equipe et de programmes de vente. Minimum

5 ans d'experience professionnelle

en vente dans un secteur connexe. Experience de

5 ans en gestion d'equipes et de programmes

a l'echelle nationale, regionale ou de district (preferee).

7 ans d'experience en vente

dans l'industrie concernee (preferee). Bonne connaissance des principes de gestion et d'affaires en planification strategique, allocation des ressources et coordination des equipes. Comprehension demontree des principes et processus lies a la prestation de services clients et personnels (analyse des besoins, respect des normes de qualite, evaluation de la satisfaction). Excellentes competences en communication orale et ecrite, en analyse, en persuasion et en relations interpersonnelles. Capacite a faire preuve d'esprit d'equipe, de leadership et de flexibilite. Excellentes competences en gestion du temps et en informatique. Capacite a voyager jusqu'a

Ventes externes

- Le travail s'effectue generalement dans un bureau, mais peut necessiter des deplacements chez les clients ou dans des entrepots. La conduite automobile peut etre requise sur de longues periodes avec des arrets frequents. Une exposition aux conditions climatiques exterieures est possible.


As a Senior Manager - Sales, you will provide strategic direction and progressive leadership to achieve sales and profit goals within multiple locations or a largescale location with sales revenue above $50M or significant complexities. You will design and recommend sales and marketing programs and set short and long-term sales strategies. You will manage a team of direct reports who typically have managerial responsibilities.


Responsibilities:



Develops and administers sales plans to ensure customer satisfaction, assigned quota attainment, good reference accounts, and highly skilled and motivated staff. Partners with marketing to develop and implement sales marketing programs and initiatives. Determines annual sales and gross profit plan by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing sales quota for territories. Projects expected sales volume and profit for existing and new product lines and customers. Maintains sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with market supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors. Coordinates order service by directing account representatives and executives on quotations, proposals, project order management techniques, and customer complaint resolution. Establishes and adjusts billing margin by monitoring costs, competition and market conditions and negotiating cost side levels. Manages sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. Maintains sales staff results by coaching employees, planning, monitoring and appraising job results. Develops and maintains relationships with top customers. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies. Forecasts and communicates intricate details to senior business managers. Interfaces with internal support departments to establish positive customer experience. Partners with suppliers to maintain customer relationships, provides training to staff, and executes marketing programs and initiatives. Partners with various internal departments to troubleshoot issues such as inventory and operations.

Qualifications:



High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree - Sales, Business Administration, Engineering, or relevant field preferred 3+ years prior experience with managing a sales team and sales programs 5+ years prior professional sales experience in related industry 5 years managing staff and programs at national, district or regional level preferred 7 years related industry professional sales preferred Working knowledge of business and management principles in strategic planning, resource allocation and coordination of people and resources Demonstrated understanding and execution of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills Ability to exercise teamwork, leadership, and flexibility Excellent time management and computer skills Ability to travel up to 25%

Working Environment:

Outside Sales - Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.



Compensation Details $126,094 - $189,140.00 Annually

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.



For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of the total compensation package.
