We are looking for a Senior Manager, People Experience to join our team on a one-year contract, reporting directly to the Director of People Experience & Integration. In this pivotal role, you will significantly contribute to improving the employee experience, which is essential for promoting retention, engagement, and growth throughout RBCx as part of our Operations & Strategic Initiatives (OSI) Centre of Excellence. In this position, you will act as an advisor, coach, cultural champion, project manager, and facilitator.

What will you do?



Partnering with our Leaders and Senior Management Teams to understand team needs, while identifying gaps and opportunities to improve employee engagement, experience, and connection. Building and nurturing relationships with RBC Enterprise teams (such as HR, Recruitment, Communications, and L&D) and RBCx teams to deliver resources, programs, and frameworks that enhance the capabilities and experiences of our teams. Translating employee insights and feedback into actionable initiatives that foster retention, motivation, and inclusion, collaborating with leadership and internal partners to achieve meaningful outcomes. Leading and refining People Experience projects, including onboarding/offboarding, employee guides, talent management enablement, learning experiences, and career mapping. Playing a key role in planning and hosting high-energy town halls, and other employee forums that foster a dynamic, engaging work environment. Spearheading change management and communication initiatives to ensure the smooth implementation of People programs, systems, and services, resulting in clear outcomes and positive adoption. Empowering leaders with advisory support, training, resources, and tools necessary for effective leadership, including onboarding plans, goal-setting templates, and essential messaging to facilitate communication. Designing and creating engaging, visually appealing, and easily digestible content for a variety of purposes, from learning and enablement to employee updates, while contributing to our internal knowledge system.

What do you need to succeed?



Must-have



5+ years of experience in Talent Management, People Programs, or People Business Partnerships within high-growth SaaS, tech companies or design/advertising agencies. Advanced proficiency in Canva (or equivalent tools). A background in instructional design, learning & development and/or visual communication. Experience with collaboration and project management tools such as Jive, Slack, Asana, or similar platforms. Exceptional verbal, written and visual storytelling skills, enabling you to synthesize complex ideas and convey messages clearly. A solid track record in enhancing employee experience, having successfully led initiatives focused on engagement and enablement for various teams in a people focused role. Ideally, you'll have experience in a tech company or digital agency. Exceptional content design skills, where you are thoughtful in your approach to designing content for employees and leaders, ensuring it is digestible, engaging & visually appealing. You pride yourself in building impactful decks and bring a design lens to your content.

Data-driven decision-making, you are someone who's passionate about collecting and analyzing data to extract insights that inform purposeful initiatives and convert those insights into actionable steps.
