Principales responsabilites
Definir et mettre en oeuvre la vision strategique du Service de la paie en alignement avec les priorites de l'organisation.
Diriger, mobiliser et developper une equipe multidisciplinaire de professionnels de la paie.
Assurer la conformite aux lois provinciales et federales, aux normes comptables et aux politiques internes.
Superviser l'administration des avantages sociaux, des conges, des assurances collectives et des obligations liees aux comites paritaires.
Piloter l'optimisation continue du systeme integre de gestion des ressources humaines (SIGRH).
Agir comme expert-conseil aupres des gestionnaires et partenaires internes sur les enjeux de remuneration et de paie.
Assurer la qualite, l'exactitude et la securite des donnees de paie transmises aux fournisseurs externes.
Superviser les processus de fin de periode, les rapprochements bancaires et les remises gouvernementales.
Elaborer et suivre les indicateurs de performance du service, incluant les rapports statistiques et financiers.
Participer activement a l'integration de nouvelles entites, projets d'acquisition ou initiatives de transformation.
Assurer la gestion complete du cycle de fin d'annee, incluant les T4/Releves 1 et les rapports fiscaux.
Contribuer a l'amelioration continue des outils, processus et politiques de paie.

Senior Manager, Payroll
is responsible for the strategy, governance, and optimization of the full payroll cycle nationwide, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of payroll processing. This role manages a team of payroll specialists and works closely with Human Resources and Finance, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational performance. The manager acts as a subject matter expert, business partner, and change agent for payroll processes and HR systems.
Responsibilities:
Define and implement the strategic vision for the Payroll Department in alignment with organizational priorities.
Lead, engage, and develop a multidisciplinary team of payroll professionals.
Ensure compliance with provincial and federal laws, accounting standards, and internal policies.
Oversee administration of benefits, leave, group insurance, and obligations related to joint committees.
Drive continuous optimization of the integrated Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
Act as a consultant to managers and internal partners on compensation and payroll matters.
Ensure the quality, accuracy, and security of payroll data transmitted to external providers.
Supervise end-of-period processes, bank reconciliations, and government remittances.
Develop and monitor performance indicators for the department, including statistical and financial reports.
Actively participate in the integration of new entities, acquisition projects, or transformation initiatives.
Manage the complete year-end cycle, including T4s/Releve 1s and tax reports.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll tools, processes, and policies.

Technical Expertise:
PCP or CPM certification from the Canadian Payroll Association is highly desirable.
