As the Senior Manager, Market Access Excellence, you play a crucial role in leading all aspects of the successful planning and execution of market access strategies and initiatives within our organization. You will lead efforts to drive operational excellence in market access activities, including development of MAP launch excellence roadmaps, end to end access project management, and launch +Life cycle management execution plans, all to improve product access and reimbursement. Accountabilities:
MAP Process Design and Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize MAP workflows to provide clarity on roles and responsibilities, timelines, deliverables, and key cross-functional inputs/interdependencies.
MAP Performance Monitoring: Establish and gain alignment on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to supervise the success of MAP initiatives, track progress against goals, communicate across the organization, and find opportunities for improvement.
MAP Training and Development: Through needs assessments, identify programs and resources to equip team members with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles and contribute to the achievement of market access operational excellence. Work with a network of experts to develop best-in-class training and development programs.
MAP Technology and Tools Horizon Scanning, Assessment, and Implementation: Evaluate, recommend, and implement appropriate technology solutions and tools to support market access operations, improve data management and analytics capabilities, and enable efficient decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership, brand teams, including commercial, medical, regulatory, and finance, to align market access initiatives with broader organizational strategies and objectives.
MAP Risk Registry Management and Mitigation Planning: Identify potential risks and barriers to achieving market access operational excellence, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to minimize disruption to operations.
MAP Standardization of budgets, forecast/financial cycles, early asset evaluations, and other related operational frameworks
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
An advanced degree in healthcare administration, business, life sciences (MSc, MBA) or equivalent. A degree (PMP) and experience in project management within large organizations considered an asset.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in market access, health economics, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
A consistent track record of project management success, preferably including launch experience.
Tried experience in driving operational excellence or process improvement initiatives within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in developing and implementing new processes, tools, or technologies to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement systems
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management, actively engage and influence internal stakeholders.
Analytical approach with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
