As a critical member of the Learning Enablement team, you'll help us manage our regulatory compliance and operations risk across the Learning & Leadership ecosystem to enable our teams to move at pace, curating solutions that address business needs and support talent development across RBC.

What will you do?
Work collaboratively with the HR Operational Risk team to execute and fulfill aspects of the Enterprise Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Compliance Programs, including monitoring and managing all Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) initiatives and information requests for Learning and Leadership; including ORMS Control Assessments.
Partner with our EdTech team and HR Digital Solutions to support IT Risk Assessments and Issues Management and Processing Activity Risk Assessments (PARAs).
Participate in the Risk Manager Community Network, community of contacts across HR teams. Provide team-specific knowledge, insight on team operating environment, raise risk-based issues, document risk statements and internal control activities.
Act as a change agent to build awareness and knowledge within team, keeping Risk Owners informed on issues, opportunities and emerging risks.
Support the establishment and operating effectiveness of controls that drive accurate and complete for RCM and ORM.
Focuses on ensuring the Learning and Leadership team's activities are compliant with regulatory expectations for data retention and internal risk frameworks as well as business continuity management.
Partner with legal, risk and compliance teams to interpret requirements and translate them into processes and controls for Learning & Leadership governance.
Introduce and embed process governance frameworks and standard operating procedures aligned with internal controls and compliance requirements to drive consistency and a controlled environment.
Lead process improvement initiatives, conducting process audits and facilitating root cause analysis to optimize the end to end experience for learning studio, CoE partners and business-anchored learning partners.
Evaluate, implement and manage systems (e.g. project management tools, content workflow platforms) to support team productivities and drive the adoption of technologies that support simplified processes

Understanding of macro forces that could impact ops risk and regulatory compliance management for Learning and Leadership CoEs

Familiarity with applicable regulations in the Learning ecosystem.
