The Senior Manager, Information Technology (IT) is responsible for leading the company's IT strategy, infrastructure, and systems to support business operations, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires a visionary leader who can align technology with business goals, manage IT projects, oversee cybersecurity measures, and ensure seamless IT operations across all corporate and property-level systems.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic IT Leadership & Planning
Develop and implement the company's IT strategy to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Align IT initiatives with the company's short- and long-term objectives, ensuring technology investments drive business value.
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance real estate operations.
Technology Infrastructure & Operations
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, data centers, and end-user systems.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all IT systems, applications, and platforms.
Lead the selection, deployment, and management of property management systems (PMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, and other business-critical applications.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies to protect company data, tenant and resident information, and financial transactions.
Monitor and mitigate risks related to cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system vulnerabilities.
Ensure IT operations comply with industry regulations, data privacy laws, and internal security policies.
IT Support & Service Management
Oversee IT helpdesk operations, ensuring prompt and effective support for corporate employees and property management teams.
Establish IT service management (ITSM) processes to optimize incident response, change management, and system performance monitoring.
Implement best practices to improve system uptime, reduce downtime, and enhance end-user experience.
Software, Applications, & Digital Transformation
Evaluate and integrate PropTech solutions to improve asset management, tenant engagement, and operational efficiency.
Lead digital transformation initiatives, including automation, data analytics, and smart building technologies.
Oversee the development and maintenance of company websites, mobile applications, and internal collaboration tools.
Team Leadership & Vendor Management
Manage and develop an IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with department heads to understand technology needs and deliver solutions that enhance business performance.
Negotiate and manage relationships with third-party IT vendors, service providers, and consultants.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
10+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably within the real estate, property management, or construction industries.
Proven track record of leading IT infrastructure projects, cybersecurity initiatives, and digital transformation programs.
Expertise in enterprise applications, cloud computing, cybersecurity frameworks, and data governance.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management skills.
