We're searching for a Senior Manager, IT Field Services & Operations. Are you searching for new possibilities?
Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing, and we're looking for an innovative technology leader to strengthen our IT operations as Senior Manager, IT Field Services & Operations. This is a hybrid position, based out of our Head Office in Surrey, BC.
Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $120,000 to $147,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity.

As a Senior Manager, IT Field Services & Operations, you're a strategic technology leader passionate about operational excellence and delivering seamless technology experiences across our retail network. You'll oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of branch hardware technology - from desktops and laptops to endpoints and printers - ensuring consistent standards, reliability, and performance across all Westland Insurance locations nationwide.

  • You have 10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least X years in a senior leadership role managing geographically distributed teams.

  • You bring a strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, service management principles, and IT infrastructure operations.

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree or certifications like ITIL, PMP, Azure, CISSP, or CISM are a strong asset).
  • You're an inspiring people leader, experienced in building, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • You're an excellent communicator who can translate complex technical strategies into clear business outcomes.
Once here, you'll:
  • Lead the planning, deployment, and lifecycle management of all branch hardware technology, including desktops, laptops, endpoints, and printers.
  • Develop and execute an evergreen endpoint management strategy that ensures consistency, scalability, and top-tier performance across all locations.
  • Oversee IT integration for newly acquired companies - migrating systems, deploying standardized hardware, and ensuring seamless onboarding to the Westland network.
  • Optimize hardware delivery processes using automation, analytics, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Collaborate with acquisition teams, branch leadership, and vendors to deliver best-in-class technology solutions.
  • Manage IT Field Services & Operations budgets, contracts, and service level agreements, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality delivery.
  • Define, measure, and report on KPIs and SLAs related to deployment, integration, and end-user satisfaction.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the IT Field Services & Operations team.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align IT operations with Westland's strategic business goals.
