Senior Manager, International Taxation Hybrid

Vancouver, BC, Canada

Job Description

:

A tremendous opportunity is available with our fast-paced & dynamic Downtown Vancouver client for a Senior Manager, International Taxation, (but it\'s so much more than just that). In this newly created role, you will work along side of some of Vancouver\'s best and brightest Accounting and Finance professionals and even have the ability to branch out into other areas.

Be part of an impressive team of finance professionals for this producing mining company. If growth, learning, and the opportunity to build and have an impact is high on your radar for your next career move then you may want to give serious consideration to this opportunity.

Continued planned growth will also provide the opportunity to be involved in many interesting future projects and tax planning initiatives.

You are a strong technical tax professional and enjoy compliance & reporting, planning & strategy, international and cross-border tax issues, and even developing and implementing Sox Controls. After the initial ramp up period there will likely be time to get involved in other areas of interest. FP&A perhaps?

There are always new ways to do things better and meeting deadlines and delivering a quality product are second nature to you. \'Good enough\' is not in your vocabulary.

The compensation plan includes a generous base salary and incentive plan, extended health benefits, and an RRSP matching program.

Travel within North American will likely be required approximately once per quarter.
