Job Description

Join our team as a Senior Manager, Insurance Partnerships! In this role, you'll be responsible for executing and optimizing insurance and partner programs to increase exam volumes, drive product revenue, enhance patient experience, strengthen brand awareness and develop innovative ways to enhance lives and improve access to eye care.



This role is located at our Home Office in Calgary, Alberta, which follows a hybrid work model.


What Will You Be Doing?




Managing day-to-day operations of existing insurance and affinity partnerships, ensuring smooth program delivery and patient experience Coordinating with insurance providers and their partner payers on marketing programs to ensure program success Collaborating with Business Intelligence on KPIs and reporting; ensuring the needs of the business and our insurance partners are met Monitoring program performance metrics and service levels to maintain partnership agreements and patient satisfaction standards Resolving operational challenges between clinics and insurance partners Proactively identify opportunities to improve program performance and patient experience Implementing process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across all partnership touchpoints Creating partnership roadmaps to ensure future evolution of insurance programs that deliver on patient health outcomes and improved access to eye care services Developing innovative and targeted marketing programmes and communications for insurance partnerships in collaboration with marketing teams Executing campaigns to increase program awareness and patient participation across partner networks Creating educational content about eye health benefits and insurance coverage options Coordinating marketing activities across multiple channels including digital platforms, partner portals, and in-clinic materials; ensuring limited collisions between insurers programs and maintaining our key relationships Analyzing marketing campaign performance and optimizing messaging based on engagement and conversion metrics Maintaining strong relationships with existing insurance and affinity partners through regular communication and support Conducting quarterly business reviews with partners to assess program performance and identify improvement opportunities Facilitating partner onboarding processes and ensure successful integration with FYihealth group systems and procedures Collaborating with partners on patient communication strategies and benefit utilization initiatives Supporting contract renewals and partnership agreements in coordination with business development and senior leadership teams Analyzing program data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement Preparing regular reports on partnership performance, patient utilization, and program ROI for senior leadership Driving data driven program evolution; leveraging data to target and drive regular eye exams and patient connections Coordinating with clinic operations teams to ensure consistent partnership program delivery across all locations; focus on staff on-boarding and ongoing training programs to support our affinity programs Working with IT teams to ensure digital integration between internal and partner systems Supporting training initiatives for clinic staff on partnership programs and procedures Participating in cross-functional projects related to patient experience and operational excellence Ensuring all programs comply with internal, regulatory and industry standards, as well as contractual preferential elements

As the Successful Candidate You Have:




10+ years' experience in marketing, business development or program management functions, experience in Health Insurance considered an asset Bachelor's degree in business or marketing Expertise in managing partnerships, driving customer acquisition, and executing programs within the insurance space Strong background in complex partner marketing programs Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with strong expertise in Excel Experience in leading change management and implementing process improvements Ability to develop and execute long-term Insurance and Affinity programs Professional, organized, and technically proficient independent thinker who builds positive relationships Strong understanding of pricing, P&L management and ability to model financial projections and elevate KPIs Experience securing and managing high-value partnerships, with the ability to create and deliver competitive solutions to partners Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to guide and inform all organizational levels while explaining complex topics clearly and tactfully Ability to leverage analytics to optimize programs and drive growth Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, develop, coach, support and empower others while creating a positive workplace culture Excels in a fast- paced dynamic environment, consistently meeting tight deadlines Bilingualism English and French is considered an asset
