The CRE Global Project Delivery COE team serves as thought partners to senior executives, Regional Leaders and other CRE COE teams, offering support for all project management services, ensuring RBC has a global framework for efficient and timely project and program delivery focused on achieving business unit objectives.
Working closely with the CRE Regional Leads, all levels of Integrated Project Delivery team members, our outsourced partners (in particular the PM and MAC team members) and other COE groups within CRE including Global Supplier Management, Transactions Management, and Workplace Services, this role will provide oversight of RBC's project partners, will lead project partner performance management and escalations, and will ensure alignment with RBC compliance policies and regulations.
This role will report into the Senior Director, Global Project Delivery, and will drive strategy and collaboration between our internal project delivery and outsourced project delivery team members. This role requires close partnership with stakeholders within CRE and with outsourced service providers.
What will you do?
Support performance management of outsourced project management services partners in line with contract SLA, KPI, and other terms
Lead governance with project management related RBC suppliers/vendors/partners
Development and implementation of global framework for project management service delivery across CRE regional teams with standardization in processes where possible
Support updates to all project management services playbooks and processes as necessary based on RBC policy
Manage centralized reporting on global project management services performance and progress (both internal team and outsourced partner performance)
Support any escalations management, and associated controls or risk management
Drive benchmarking against industry project management performance
Improve processes around forward-looking project planning (pipeline development) across all CRE regional teams+
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
7- 10 years of real estate experience with at least 3 years experience with large complex real estate services solutions development
Experience in all/most facets of project lifecycle; strong comprehension of project management methodologies; genuine commitment to project environment and discipline
Experience in identifying and assessing key business processes, business process modeling and process mapping
Experience with managing third party partners around performance and governance
Advanced organizational and communication skills including presentation, facilitation, verbal and written with comfort presenting to senior level management and executives
Multi-tasker comfortable working autonomously or with a team with an enthusiastic attitude for success; attention to detail; curiosity and passion for innovation and creative solutions
Nice-to-have
:
Masters in Business Administration, a related discipline, or equivalent education/experience
Change Management Certification
PMP (or related) designation
