The Senior Manager, Forecasting CVRM, V&I, Immunology and Early Asset is accountable for all revenue forecasting processes and deliverables in their assigned portfolio, for the Canadian Biopharmaceutical business.


This key role within the Insights, Analytics & Forecasting team partners extensively across the commercial organization and Finance to drive future planning, performance evaluation, risk and opportunity assessment. You will support the assigned business area to maximise the finance contribution to the achievement of business objectives. The successful incumbent will provide quality financial and commercial input to individual investment decisions, challenge key forecasting assumptions and deliver expert financial analysis of performance, forecasts, key risks and sensitivities.


The position requires an individual with a strong strategic focus, a passion for planning and performance with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced complex environment. As a strategic partner, you will excel in helping your key stakeholders in managing risks for our brands and have effective communications with directly influencing and advising decision makers.

Responsibilities:



Forecast Ownership: Accountable for all brand level revenue forecasts for pre-launch, launch, in-line and established brands within your assigned brand portfolio. Forecast Modelling: Accountable for the development of robust forecast models best aligned to brand and market parameters. Inclusive of patient funnel, demand forecast, supply, access and pricing assumptions etc. Strategic Influence and Leadership: Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, triangulating data and insights to provide impactful recommendations. Drive consensus on forecasting assumptions, influencing decision-making at the highest levels. Scenario Planning: Lead the development of revenue scenario planning and business cases to support investment decisions and long-term planning in partnership with Commercial, Pricing, and Finance teams. Proactive Risk and Opportunity Management: Lead in identifying and quantification of potential risks and opportunities through detailed scenario planning and analysis across your portfolio. Performance Evaluation: Oversee performance tracking and estimation processes, providing accurate and timely updates to leadership. Apply actual performance data and emerging trends to refine forecasts and strategies. Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Marketing, Finance, Pricing and Access teams to ensure alignment on forecast assumptions and critical analytical assessments. Partner with Finance business partners to deliver annual forecast cycles Budget, RBU2, RBU3 and Annual mid-term planning process. Accountable to ensure adherence to all legal, compliance, and adverse event reporting processes.

Education, Qualifications, Skills & Experience:



Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in a quantitative or scientific field (business/finance, economics, statistics, natural sciences or related subject area) field is preferred. 5 years of experience in forecasting and/or comparable experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry, with a demonstrated track record of strategic impact and team leadership. Capability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels in a global organization Exceptional ability to analyze complex data, identify strategic insights, and communicate recommendations to senior leadership. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify sophisticated information for a variety of audiences. Successful history of collaboration and partnering across functions. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, aligning team efforts with business objectives.
