The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Treasury, this position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing analytical tools to drive corporate performance and strategic analysis. The incumbent will work closely with department leaders across the organization to drive strategic analysis and planning and provide insight to business leaders. This person is a self-motivated, deadline driven professional, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service.

What you will be doing

Financial Analysis

  • Lead the annual Strategic Planning and the preparation of the consolidated quarterly forecasts for the company and the annual Operating Plan
  • Provide input and analysis that supports long-term strategic planning and provide financial modeling support to business owners on existing business and new initiatives
  • Lead the process for forecasting liquidity and cash flows of the organization
  • Lead the quarterly portfolio valuation and share value calculation and projections
  • Lead the financial analysis of short-term incentive objectives and long-term incentive plans
  • Support transactions and development activities
  • Deliver actionable analytical services and recommendations to senior management that will drive future shareholder value growth
  • Able to Integrate large data sets into financial models that support reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate across departments to help prepare decision support materials
  • Prepare presentations and materials for departments and senior executive team
  • Drive continuous process improvements through financial data tools and system automation
  • Provide transaction support to M&A and real estate development initiatives
  • Provide ad Hoc analysis for senior management, as required
People Development
  • Coach and mentor direct reports and other members to develop high level of confidence in their responsibilities to deliver operational performance innovation
  • Cultivate and promote a team culture of high engagement and a team environment with career recognition and succession
What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent with focus on Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, CFA, and / or CBV Designation or equivalent
  • 7+ years experience
  • Advanced Excel skills with a demonstrated ability to work with large datasets
  • Expert in financial modeling (valuation, operational, LBO models, etc.)
Nice to Have
  • Experience using Yardi
  • Experience in the real estate industry
  • Proven ability to succeed in a high-volume & fast-paced environment
  • Willing to take on additional projects outside the scope of the role
