Reporting to the Director, IB Financial Analysis, the Senior Manager, Financial Analysis - Latin America contributes to the overall success of the IB Financial Planning & Analysis ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. They will also ensure that all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Provide support to countries and coordinate financial activities of quarter-end process, forecasting and planning (Bluebook, Executive Reports, IB plan, EWST, among others) and submissions Review Financial statements and perform high-level reasonability of country/segment results and their submission of deliverables Analyze and identify profit improvement opportunities for countries Analyze and review processes with the countries/segments in order to achieve the goals of performance and provide recommendations to make sure continuous improvement. Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. MBA is an asset or undergrad in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering 8 or more years' experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Spanish is an asset
