The Role:





The Bank's Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF), is the single source of policies, standards, processes, and templates for successfully delivering projects at Scotiabank. It defines the Bank's requirements and processes for all projects and production changes to follow, from prioritization to closure. It includes control standards from Risk, Finance, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Privacy, Release Management and Project Management. It is an end to end delivery framework and communication vehicle to provide clear guidance to project teams to ensure all adhere to minimum enterprise delivery standards.


The position is to help drive an enterprise wide transformation program to streamline and simplify the Bank's Enterprise Delivery Framework (EDF).



What will you do?





The key accountabilities are focused on providing dedicated support for advancing our enterprise delivery framework (EDF) Transformation agenda and ensuring continued progress in relevant initiatives.

1. End-to-End Transformation Leadership



Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation across all EDF gates and Minimum Delivery Standards (MDS), not just isolated components. Experience driving initiatives from idea to implementation.

2. Funding & Governance Expertise





Deep understanding of Scotiabank's funding processes and governance structure. Ability to simplify and align funding models across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methods.

3. Enterprise Control Familiarity





Strong working knowledge of the Bank's internal control, risk management, and governance processes. Ability to act as EDF SME to opine on the effectiveness of delivery, risk management, and governance process enhancements.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation





Skilled in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across the enterprise. Capable of facilitating EDF senior stakeholder committees. Able to identify and activate focused working groups to support targeted solutioning.

5. Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development





Ability to define and execute a transformation roadmap, including vision, objectives, success metrics, and timelines. Experience aligning with other enterprise transformation programs (e.g., technology delivery, risk transformation).

6. Tool & Workflow Integration





Experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, PPM, SharePoint, and PowerBI. Ability to lead tool rationalization and enable connected workflows across systems.

7. Change Management & Communication





Expertise in structured change management, including intake, approvals, and stakeholder communications. Strong communication skills to socialize EDF target state and roadmap across business and corporate functions.

8. Agile & Product-Centric Mindset





Familiarity with Lean, Agile, and product-centric delivery models (e.g., Squads, Domains). Ability to apply flexible, method-agnostic approaches tailored to different risk profiles.

9. Data & Insight-Driven Decision Making





Proficient in using dashboards, KPIs, and analytics to inform decisions and measure success. Comfortable with dynamic reporting and real-time visibility into project status and compliance.

10. External Perspective & Innovation





Brings industry best practices and external benchmarks to challenge legacy thinking. Proactive in identifying opportunities to innovate and streamline EDF processes.

What do you need to succeed?





Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Administration or equivalent relevant Consulting/Banking experience 7+ years of experience leading programs, driving transformation or driving process optimization. Strong understanding of both traditional waterfall and agile delivery, in a technology development environment. Strong experience leading teams and organizations through strategic and transformational changes Strong stakeholder and change management experience Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills - able to champion initiatives and secure support and alignment across an organization
