Senior Manager, Engineering & Delivery - Pharmacy Solutions and Technology, Brampton, ON

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an eager, solution-oriented Senior Manager, Delivery to lead our HealthWATCH application delivery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and delivery of our pharmacy technology solutions to clients. This role is essential in ensuring our clients achieve the maximum benefit from our systems while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The right individual is dedicated, informed, loves to communicate, and would enjoy the challenge of applying their expertise to aid in transforming a high-volume system to make a significant and lasting impact for Canadians across the country every day.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

  • Ensure projects are completed according to aligned upon timeline. Ensure the application achieves quality goals and is easy to support post launch
  • Lead and manage a team of technical project managers to ensure the successful delivery of the Pharmacy Management System. Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while tracking progress and addressing roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to design and maintain a robust, scalable, and efficient monolithic architecture. Ensure that the system aligns with industry standard processes and is optimized for performance.
  • \xc2\xb7Prioritize business requirements and technical requirements to establish a complete backlog and to ensure applications don\xe2\x80\x99t accrue technical debt
  • Ensure projects are completed using modern architecture and technology aligned with Loblaw Technology approved technologies and governance.
  • Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams, including product management, customer support, and sales, to ensure the product meets customer needs and expectations.
  • Implement project management standard processes to monitor and report on project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Continuously evaluate the system\'s performance and find opportunities for improvement. Implement standard processes to enhance system stability and scalability.
  • Manage the delivery budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR to maintain an optimal resource pool.
What you Bring:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (MBA or similar is a plus).
  • Proven experience in project management, engineering & healthcare technology delivery.
  • Strong technical background and had prior experience of running complex engineering development projects
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of successfully managing and developing hard-working teams.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy management systems and healthcare technology.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
