The Data and Artificial Intelligence Risk (DAIR) team is looking for a highly driven change agent who demonstrates integrity, drive and courage to lead the design and execution of the DAIR management program plan.

As a member of the team, you will be directly contributing the operationalization of data and AI risk at the organization, while working with a collaborative team of inspiring professionals to help deliver the Enterprise DAIR Program objectives across our footprint.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating the strategy and roadmaps for communications (both internal and external), education, change management, and training
  • Leading the development and execution of change management and communication campaigns to drive understanding and adoption of Data and AI, which includes writing and issuing of materials, developing presentations, and delivering presentations to a diverse range of audiences (up and including senior executives)
  • Build a comprehensive training program for Data and AI Risk (to be executed both internally and across the organization), including working with partners from across the organization to leverage best practices and content, and ensure alignment of messaging
  • Identify priority businesses and areas for change management, training and education opportunities
  • Build partnerships with teams across the Bank to help educate, train and integrate Data and AI risk into existing processes
  • Works in cross-functional teams, including other communications teams and other risk partners, to ensure alignment of messaging and upholding our Scotiabank branding and communications standards
  • Assist in the creation and execution of the periodical and ad-hoc presentations to the Board, CRO, Risk Committees, Regulator
  • Be proactive in identifying and pursuing opportunities for partnerships, stakeholder engagement and education
  • Identifying and building partnerships in the market to help establish Scotiabank as a thought-leader in Data and AI Risk
  • Assisting the logistics, production, and delivery of internal events in order to educate colleagues on Data and AI Risk and how it can be incorporated in their work
  • Driving the creative development and execution of high impact, engaging content including:
  • Assisting internal communications;
  • Developing written materials, multimedia and graphics in assist of communications and change management strategies
  • Assisting, as needed, with external communications and events
  • Stays abreast of emerging data and AI trends and ensures activities are always delivered with a best practice and innovation approach, reflecting appropriate technological developments for aggressive business position.
  • Participate in design discussions focused on design and implementation of best practices (and potentially tools) to assist those processes.
  • Lead a high-performance team-this is a people manager role
  • Champions a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment, informing vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment, and prioritize team\xe2\x80\x99s goals
Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in business/financial/consulting services
  • Practical experience with communication and change management, and/or training
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage large and diverse audiences
  • Experience in creating and developing presentation materials and informing with Senior Management
  • A good understanding of how the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered and incorporated into education and training
  • Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to develop engaging decks and graphics
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively build relationships and collaborate with partners
  • Strong Microsoft Suite experience (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Spanish language fluency, (written & verbal) is an asset
  • Strong organization skills and adaptability to manage ambiguity
  • Curious and proactive learner able to solve complex problems, multi-task and manage changing priorities
