Job Description


The Senior Manager, E-Commerce, is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the strategic direction and operational execution of our E-Commerce department. This role emphasizes driving revenue growth through effective online merchandising, digital marketing, and conversion optimization.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President-Country Manager, the Senior Manager of E-Commerce will foster collaboration among multiple teams, including Consumer Marketing, Product Development, Demand/Planning, and Commercial, ensuring alignment in driving the website\'s success. With a hands-on approach, this role offers the opportunity to build a high-performance department, implement the latest market practices, and mentor a talented team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Oversee e-commerce and marketing on platforms like Amazon, marketplaces, and brand websites.
  • Promote teamwork among Marketing, Product Management, and eCommerce departments to meet website objectives.
  • Support new product launches in collaboration with the Product Development Team.
  • Align product launches with website experiences in partnership with Consumer Marketing.
  • Engage with Commercial teams on National brand strategies and ensure product availability through accurate forecasting.
Operational Excellence:
  • Design and implement advertising strategies and budgets for all e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure sales targets are met for brand websites and Amazon.
  • Manage daily Amazon operations, focusing on profitability, sales growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee product pages, customer service relationships, and seller ratings.
  • Plan Amazon promotions and communicate Amazon\'s needs to the broader organization.
Team Management & Development:
  • Lead the E-Commerce team, promoting teamwork, creativity, and excellence.
  • Show proactive initiative in tasks, including taking on special projects.
Key Requirements:

Demonstrated Experience with Amazon:
  • Proven track record of successful vendor negotiations and comprehensive knowledge of Amazon\'s ecosystem, including but not limited to FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon), Amazon Advertising, and Amazon Brand Registry.
  • Familiarity with Amazon\'s Seller Central and Vendor Central platforms, with the ability to navigate and optimize listings, manage inventory, and interpret performance metrics.
  • Experience handling Amazon-related challenges, such as inventory planning, claims, product listing issues, and account health management.
Proficiency with E-commerce Platforms:
  • Hands-on experience with leading e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Magento.
  • Ability to set up, manage, and optimize online stores, ensuring seamless integration with other business systems (e.g., inventory management, CRM).
  • Familiarity with the technical aspects of e-commerce platforms, including theme customization, app/plugin integration, and performance optimization.
Deep Understanding of Performance Marketing:
  • Firm grasp of performance marketing strategies, including PPC, SEO, email, and affiliate marketing.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret e-commerce metrics, such as conversion rates, ROAS, and customer lifetime value, to make informed marketing decisions.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing advertising budgets across multiple channels, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Knowledge of the latest e-commerce marketing trends, tools, and best practice
Additional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 of experience in e-commerce management or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
