The Senior Manager, Digital Initiatives Delivery leads the go-to-market delivery and execution of digital and transformational initiatives across RBC Insurance's Sales and Distribution ecosystem. Operating within the Agile Operating Model, this role ensures alignment between sales and digital priorities, business outcomes, as well as advisor, distributor and client experience - driving measurable impact through delivery, collaboration, and innovation.
The incumbent serves as a delivery leader and subject matter expert, partnering with squads, product owners, and business stakeholders to enable seamless execution of initiatives that enhance advisor, distributor, and client experiences across channels. The Senior Manager is responsible for translating business strategy into executable roadmaps, ensuring dependencies, risks, and benefits are managed across initiatives, and enabling continuous improvement through agile delivery practices.
What will you do?
Lead, coach, and develop a team of delivery specialists who plan and execute initiatives across all Sales and Distribution channels
Build team capability in agile delivery, stakeholder management and digital transformational disciplines
Translate enterprise and business strategies into actionable digital roadmaps, ensuring initiative alignment to RBC Insurance's Sales and Distribution, Strategy, Digital & Data priorities
Drive the delivery of strategic digital initiatives that enhance advisor, distributor, and client experiences through automation, process digitization, and data-driven insight.
Partner with Scrum Masters and agile coaches to reinforce agile mindsets, remove impediments, and support value-based delivery
Build strong partnerships across Sales & Distribution, Product, Finance, Technology, Operations, Change Management, Risk, Privacy and Compliance to ensure coordinated delivery
Ensure disciplined adherence to governance and risk standards for all initiatives, engaging appropriate partners for compliance and approval processes
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
10+ years of experience in an insurance or aligned/similar industry preferably with strong exposure to a sales environment, sales leadership, and/or project management
Strong creative problem solving skills. Looks beyond the surface to foresee potential pitfalls and mitigates risks before they occur/develops appropriate solutions. Quickly determines the fundamental essence of an issue, its root cause, conflicting points of view and seeks creative resolution.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex initiatives, interpret and present information clearly and accurately in writing or verbally
Strong personal commitment to the customer, the employee and to corporate objectives
Nice-to-have
Strong Knowledge of RBC Insurance Sales & Distribution channels, including solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and product offerings
Ability to prioritize and meet conflicting demands, consultative, highly adaptable, flexible and effective
Strong strategic business sense and technical/analytical skills
Excellent communication, motivational, and presentations skills
Strong teamwork skills and ability to build relationships with various roles across all levels
