Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a

Senior Manager, C-Store Operations

, on a permanent basis on our Consumer Products team.


This position is a hybrid opportunity and can be based out of our home office in

Saskatoon, SK or any of our region offices in Western Canada

.


Are you a leader in Convenience Store (C-Store) Operations interested in overseeing the design, coordination, and continuous improvement of operational and merchandising strategies across Co-op C-Stores, Western Nations, and Tempo programs? If you are an individual who wants to help develop and implement new and innovative consumer-related programs and products, with a mid- to long-term planning horizon, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

What you'll do:

Lead strategy and development for C-Store programs (beverages, food service, etc.), ensuring food safety compliance and maintaining program manuals and SOPs. Develop strategies to improve profitability and collaborate with Co-ops and internal teams; oversee training and support for operational improvements. Provide guidance and analysis for new and renovated site projects, including layouts, merchandising, and post-project audits. Direct pricing strategy and analytics, offering insights and tools to drive sales and efficiency across Co-ops. Lead cross-functional C-Store initiatives, from concept to execution, ensuring effective communication and implementation across regions.

Who you'll work with

:

You will provide operational, technical, product and program support for Zone teams, local Co-ops, the Home Office C-Store department, and local Co-op Operations Managers, Directors, GMs, and CEOs. You will have one direct report and report to the Director, Operations.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Business Operations and:


Have 8+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in marketing and operational experience in the Retail Food Industry, including 2+ years management experience. Have a bachelor's degree in business or marketing (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). Are proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
