We\'re looking for a Senior Manager, Capital Operations to join our Financial Services team. You will be responsible for the critical day-to-day business operations of our global underwriting and risk operations capital teams.

What you\'ll be doing:

  • Manages resources and leads the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals.
  • Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy.
  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
  • Develops the business case by identifying needs, analysing potential options and assessing expected return on investment.
  • Defines business requirements for analytics & reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making.
  • Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide capital management insights and recommendations.
  • Monitors and tracks capital performance / drivers of capital performance, and addresses any issues.
  • Gathers and formats data into regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
  • Implements changes in response to shifting trends.

  • Partnering with leaders within the Financial Services, Go-To-Market, and Product & Technology teams, for alignment and success.
  • Working closely with Product, Technology and Data groups to implement new data, tools and features to improve operations processes and procedures.
  • Operating at the group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Acting as liaison between stakeholders in order to align agendas and ensure a clear understanding of the business context.
What you need to bring:

We\'re a team of 30 people located globally. The Senior Manager will have 3 direct reports. This group is in hyper-growth mode, seeking for an experienced leader who can bring this business to the next level, owning underwriting guidelines, processes and decisions as well as risk management analysis and collections.

We\'re looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
  • Experience leading in a fintech/banking environment, more specifically merchant cash advances
  • 5+ years of team management
  • Credit risk experience
  • Scaling operations and understanding what to prioritize
  • Data-driven decisioning
  • End to end life cycle financing experience
  • Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
