Job Title Senior Manager, Canadian Banking Operations Finance




































  • You will provide proactive advice to executives/senior management on business performance, cost trends, early warnings and savings opportunities
  • Support requirements of CB Finance and other finance teams
  • Partner on tracking and reporting of costs and benefits of CBO\xe2\x80\x99s and select platform-wide initiative portfolio, including design and validation of modelling for benefit assessments, as well as support portfolio tracking and reporting of actual benefits realized to multiple stakeholders within Finance
  • Oversee the monitoring, analysis and reporting of financial results against plan/forecast.
  • Identify, recommend and monitor key cost drivers and implement efficient standard processes for the timely reporting of financial information.
  • Provide proactive financial support on business case (PAR) modeling and review
  • Ensures the integrity, accuracy, completeness of financial information
  • Consult, creating strong relationships and communication with executives/senior management.
Must-have
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral & written, with good interpersonal skills in order to establish relationships across all levels of the enterprise.
  • Experience in financial reporting & analysis and cost management.
  • Experience using metrics, KPIs and cost/value drivers in performance management
  • Experience with unique financial systems such as EPM or similar reporting tools
  • Problem solving and collaborative skills
  • Curious and proactive mindset
  • Solid business acumen
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge on Bank\xe2\x80\x99s operations, products and services.
  • Knowledge on calculation and drivers of staff costs, including pension & benefits.
  • Knowledge of cost allocations and internal management chargeouts
  • Prior experience providing direct support to executives, senior business leaders
  • B. Comm. or MBA. CA, CMA, CGA, MBA or equivalent work experience





































Job Summary As a Senior Manager, Canadian Banking Operations Finance, you will provide financial and strategic advice and analysis to Banking Operations Executive and Management to improve financial performance and the quality of business decisions. You will act as the primary finance contact for Banking Operations Executive, Senior Management and will also be responsible for planning, forecasting and reporting costs and routinely review business performance and proactively identifies areas of risk, opportunity and success.
