About the Role
We're looking for a strategic and creative Senior Manager, Brand marketing to join our marketing team and help shape the future of Canada Pooch. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you'll lead some of our most impactful brand initiatives - from product launches and packaging to campaigns, content, partnerships and more.
In this role, you'll manage and mentor a small but mighty team of Associate Marketing Managers, guiding them across content, campaigns, social and retail marketing to deliver programs that build brand love, drive growth and deepen engagement with our community of dog lovers.
You'll work cross-functionally with product, sales, creative, DTC, ops and external partners to bring our brand to life across every touchpoint - building brand equity, fueling growth, and ensuring we show up consistently and powerfully in the market.

What You'll Do
Own Product Launches:
Oversee go-to-market strategies for new products - from positioning, messaging, and packaging to retail rollout - ensuring every touchpoint builds brand equity and drives demand.
Shape Brand Strategy & Annual Planning
: Own the annual brand marketing calendar in partnership with the VP, Marketing - guiding campaigns and go-to-market strategies that ladder up to company objectives and business growth.
Protect & Evolve Brand Voice
: Champion our brand story, voice, and tone across all channels, ensuring consistency, creativity, and emotional connection with our audience.
Drive Integrated Campaigns
: Partner cross-functionally with creative, eCommerce, product, ops and retail teams to conceptualize, plan and launch omni-channel campaigns that resonate with our target audiences and deliver results.
Champion Insights & Performance
: Partner with the growth marketing team to review campaign performance, extract actionable insights, and continuously refine strategies for greater impact.
Inspire Impactful Storytelling
: Partner with and coach our Associate Marketing Managers to dream up and deliver breakthrough campaigns - from big ideas and bold creative to content that shows up powerfully across paid, email, social, web, and retail.
Elevate Our Social Game
: Collaborate with the social and content team to shape strategies that grow our community, deepen engagement, and make our brand part of the daily conversation for dog lovers everywhere.
Bring the Brand to Life IRL
: Guide the team in creating standout retail moments - from seasonal sell-in, in-store POP and displays, to in-store experiences that connect our brand our retail partners' shoppers in meaningful ways.
Amplify Our Story
: Lead the charge on PR, partnerships, and influencer initiatives, empowering the team to build buzz, spark conversation, and expand our reach to new audiences.
Lead, Coach & Inspire the Team
: Manage and mentor a team of three Associate Marketing Managers across product marketing, content, and social -- fostering creativity, accountability, and strong execution.
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience building and growing brands, ideally within consumer goods, lifestyle, or retail. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is required.
A strong strategic mindset - able to translate consumer insights into actionable brand strategies.
Proven experience leading product launches, integrated campaigns and cross-functional initiatives.
A passion for consumer brands and a creative storyteller who can balance brand building with commercial impact.
Experience managing teams and external partners, with strong collaboration and leadership skills.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to rapid change
