Senior Manager, Best Buy Ads

Are you a seasoned and accomplished advertising & marketing leader in search of an exciting new growth opportunity?

As a senior manager, Best Buy Ads, you will be responsible for delivering high-performing campaigns for our brand partners, while continuing to grow and expand our ad business portfolio and sales. The role requires a high level of knowledge of the retail media and programmatic advertising industry, strong collaborative leadership skills and a growth mindset.

The successful candidate must be based in the greater Vancouver area, BC, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for key strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

Lead the ad business monetization strategy & growth, including ad product development, strategic partnerships, ad operations, and sales

Lead and grow Best Buy Ads portfolio of advertising solutions, introducing innovative marketing and advertising programs

Lead ad-tech partner negotiations, relationship building, and prospecting with external clients and advertising agencies

Responsible for setting and meeting budget projections for revenue growth and cost management

Oversee end-to-end project management of launching new ad capabilities, as well as planning and execution of existing advertising programs, ensuring deadlines are met

Coach, guide and support the short and long-term development of a high-performing ad operations team

Facilitate collaboration & information flow between Best Buy Ads ad operations, retail marketing, digital retail, technology, digital marketing, analytics, merchandising, finance and accounting teams

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

10-15 years in advertising, media and marketing with a firm knowledge of the retail media industry

10+ years working for a retailer, media agency or within an organization selling to retailers

Proficient in mar-tech stacks, media buying, DSPs/SSPs. Google Ad Manager and Criteo RMP experience is a plus

Proven ability to coach, interact, influence, advise and make recommendations with and without authority \xe2\x80\x93 across multiple levels and multiple functions

Experience leading a large team

Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets

Base pay range Annual salary: $104,050.00 - $124,000.00

This role is bonus eligible.
