Position Overview:




AIR MILES is looking for a

Senior Manager of Partner Analytics

to lead a team of analysts that helps our business partners make smarter, faster decisions with data.

Responsibilities:



Lead and mentor a team of analysts, senior analysts, and managers (i.e., setting priorities, managing workload, and supporting career growth). Guide the team in writing efficient SQL, using Python for more advanced analysis, and making the most of BI tools to visualize and share insights. Work closely with the

Strategic Partnerships, Business Development

and

Marketing

teams to understand priorities and deliver the data and insights they need. Collaborate with the

Data Product

and

Engineering

teams to improve data quality, structure, or consistency. Ensure the team meets SLAs tied to key Partner contracts. Translate business questions into clear analytical projects and communicate results in plain language to both technical and non-technical audiences. Tackle complex problems independently. Influence decision-making by highlighting key trends, opportunities, and risks for our Partners and the business. Develop and maintain standardized reporting to reduce manual work and improve consistency. Oversee quality control to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and compliance with privacy/governance requirements to reduce risk for AIR MILES and BMO.

Qualifications:



Excellent storytelling ability. Comfortable in a Partner-facing role. Strong SQL (comfortable writing queries from scratch). Working knowledge of Python and how it can be used for analytics (not building machine learning models). Advanced knowledge of analytical methodologies. Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, Looker, or similar). A knack for breaking down problems and finding practical, actionable insight. Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and balance competing priorities. 2+ years' experience managing people, coaching talent, and helping teams grow. A STEM degree or equivalent experience (bonus for data governance or privacy expertise).



Salary:




$86,000.00 - $160,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.


BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
