We're looking for a strategic and innovative leader to join our Advertising & Data Monetization Team within the Connected Products & Experiences (CP&E) business unit, supporting TELUS Consumer Solutions. What you'll do:

As the Senior Manager - Advanced Data Advertising, you will:




Develop and maintain the TELUS Advertising API service that sits between digital advertising inventory and the downstream advertising technology platforms Build and manage data workflows to connect TELUS 1st party and 3rd party data into the data platforms, ad servers, and SSPs that TELUS operates and partners with Create and maintain internal dashboards using multiple data sources including ad server, SSP, and viewership data sources Develop and enhance TELUS' first-party data offerings, ensuring advertisers have access to valuable, privacy-compliant insights that maximize impact Identify and implement innovative advertising solutions, staying ahead of industry trends to position TELUS as a market leader in data-driven advertising Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, engineering, sales, and strategy teams to build high-performing sales products and long-term market strategies Support the integration of ad insertion technologies, including Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI), across TELUS' platforms to enable precise, targeted advertising with supporting data workflows

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics, computer science or related field Broad knowledge of Digital TV, Connected TV, Video, DOOH, Native, and Display media, as well as custom executions Knowledge of programming languages including Python and JavaScript and cloud platforms including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services and GitHub Proficiency in Looker development including data modeling in LookML, front-end dashboard design and visualization, advanced SQL, and Google BigQuery Practical experience with digital advertising platforms, including Ad Server, SSP/Exchange, DSP, and DMP/CDP Familiarity with IAB Standards (e.g., VAST, ads.txt/app-ads.txt/sellers.json, OpenRTB) Extensive knowledge and experience in Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) technology, including ad workflows, inventory management, and cross-platform integration Experience with cloud-based ad tech solutions Solid understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and how to ensure compliance Passion for technology and entertainment, with a desire to expand knowledge Proven experience leading and mentoring teams, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear, logical thinking Curious, open-minded, collaborative, and energetic


Salary Range: $104,000-$156,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 15%
