The Opportunity

Our Client is looking to add an exceptional Senior Loyalty Manager to their growing team in Winnipeg, MB. The Senior Loyalty Manager, a newly created position, will report directly into the VP, Sourcing & Logistics.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual with loyalty program management experience to join a dynamic and growing organization. This \xe2\x80\x98One Person Army\xe2\x80\x99 will play a key role in developing and launching our Client\xe2\x80\x99s new Loyalty Program. The Senior Loyalty Manager will ensure that our Client\xe2\x80\x99s Loyalty Program is efficient and cost-effective, while also maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. They will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, negotiating contracts, and managing Loyalty Program levels to ensure customer retention and cost savings. We are in search of someone with specific experience deconstructing Brand Loyalty Programs as well as operationalizing and deploying new ones while growing and nurturing the base to ensure customer retention and cost savings through the transition.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Economics, Advertising, Communications, Market Research, Psychology, Consumer Behaviour, or related field (an MBA is a plus)
  • Salesforce Certification and Project Management (Agile experience preferred)
  • Experience ideally in Retail, CPG industry or, Consumer Finance
  • 6+ years of experience in loyalty marketing, finance, direct marketing or similar roles
  • Specific experience deconstructing Brand Loyalty Programs, developing new infrastructure for an enterprise wide Loyalty Program, and implementing in store and firmwide infrastructure to ensure a smooth transition
  • Demonstrated results leading and developing a team of analysts
  • Strong relationship management and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesize large amount of data into insights
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, analytics
  • Salesforce loyalty experience considered a major asset but not required
  • Working knowledge of SQL, or Python is an asset
Responsibilities of the Position
  • Deconstruct current brand Loyalty Programs
  • Develop new infrastructure for an enterprise Loyalty Program
  • Implement infrastructure in retail locations to ensure a smooth transition
  • Lead and manage the operational set-up for a new Loyalty Program
  • Test configured rules in the loyalty platform, and analyze the loyalty platform performance
  • Analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources, including customer transaction data, consumer and syndicated research, market share and campaign results.
  • Manage the program and ensure a continued increase in customer and employee loyalty and retention by extrapolating and interpreting appropriate information to deliver value-added recommendations
  • Deploy new Loyalty programs while growing and nurturing the base to ensure customer retention and cost savings through the program transition
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees and customers
  • Optimize the rewards catalogue and customer journey
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery and cost savings
  • Build and strengthen partnerships with internal stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve the Loyalty Program experience
