Position: Senior Loan Officer/Financial Analyst
Location: Montr al QC H3A 2A6

The Middle Office Loan Trading team supports the settlement process of primary / secondary loan trades and loan TRS, including all funding and documentation matters and is responsible for providing daily operational support to the Sales and Loan Trading desk
Responsibilities:
Client Experience:
Respond to counterparties inquiries accurately and in a timely manner.
Booking and execution of Loans: including but is not limited to the following:
Work closely with the trading desk, clients, legal counsel and operations teams to settle primary, secondary loan trades for the client desks.
Create trades and confirm the details of trades.
Coordinate among counterparts and administrative agents, the review and execution of all trade syndicated loan documents necessary for closing in a timely manner.
Report status of unsettled trades and key risk indicators to management weekly
Monitor and manage high volumes of loan closings, update status for each trade and perform reconciliations.
Monitor and apply corporate events.
Communicate and escalate any trade issues to management and the trading desk
Participate in weekly team meeting with supervisor in UK/New York
Take part in different projects under the supervision of Manager
Contribute directly to the Permanent Operational Control by identifying operational risks
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Finance
Minimum required qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proactive approach to work
Strong Team player
Ability to work well under pressure and ability to multitask
Strong Excel skills
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, concern for quality & accuracy
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge and experience in syndicated credit.
Knowledge in spreadsheets design, pivot tables, and macros to automate the workflow.
