ADGA is currently hiring a

Senior Life Cycle Material Manager Technician with a background in supporting the engineering and sustainment of Tactical Communications Radio Frequency bearer equipment, firmware and systems, including:

combat net radios, line-of-sight data radios, wide area microwave, and satellite communication subsystems.

Tasks will include, but not limited to:

Draft, review and/or provide comments on the RF (Radio Bearer) Certification Plans, Certification Reports, Authorization for Use, In-Process Accounting Plans, Production Plans, Security Communication Plans, Key Management and Distribution Plans & Solutions and Site Connectivity Checklists. Provide technical advice on tactical RF bearer systems to guide MD (Mobile Domain) Steering Committee (SC) and MD Architecture Working Group, MD trials, System Management tool capabilities (Planner, Platform, SPEED), and future Tactical Communications technology capability development and planning (including operational requirements, software defined radio standards compliance, radio systems interfaces and interoperability, spectrum interoperability, as examples). Advise on RF bearer system technologies at a level of expertise sufficient to help guide DLCSPM on strategy for program execution and project planning, Liaise with DND LCSS (Land Command Support System) Architects and designers to align RF bearer engineering development with MD requirements. Advise and guide CNRE SPRs, observations, and enhancements. Advise on problem reports, enhancements and associated designs to be considered as part of each next system baseline for RF bearer firmware and the overall roadmap. Advise on work priority to ensure stability and robustness are maintained and high value enhancements are implemented. Participate in and advise on technical investigations for improving LCSS Tactical Communications RF bearer capabilities. Advise and assist on regression qualification activities, participate in qualification testing activities, advise and assist on obtaining Functional Configuration Audit (FCA) / Physical Configuration Audit (PCA) of hardware and firmware, and assist in monitoring progress and SI activities, Provide advice in the field of RF propagation theory and application. Conduct IV&V on technical deliverables including but not limited to Specifications, Design Documents, Interface Control Documents, problem reports, test plan, test procedures and test reports. Assist in representing RF bearer capabilities at MD System level, to include reviewing CR and associated systems engineering activities and providing advice on impact and technical feasibility. Provide advice on R&O activities; and Provide LCMM support to RF bearer equipment and systems.


Qualifications



Education required: must have a College Diploma in Electronics, Computer Technology or a relevant technical field required to support LCSS (Land Command Support System) or Bachelor of Science or a suitable technical field or demonstrated qualification level of QL6A or QL6B (in military) and demonstrated minimum rank of "Warrant Officer" in the Canadian Forces. Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as an LCMM on Military Command and Control systems. Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience (in the last 8 years) in the preparation of technical documents including requirements, specification, checklists, bulletins, reports, proposals, equipment disposal plans etc. For this Senior level role, we are looking for candidates that have experience liaising with stakeholders to support the life cycle management of equipment, developing briefing notes and presentations to address technical and logistic issues pertaining to equipment and experience providing advice, guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision making of senior management. Minimum of at least 8 years of experience (in the last 10 years) performing at least 6 of the following tasks + Experience using a recognized Process Framework or using an LCMM handbook.
+ Experience working on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (such as SAP) for equipment cataloguing.
+ Experience working on ERP for maintaining and developing checklists.
+ Experience working on ERP for coordinating equipment distribution.
+ Evaluating and providing solutions to deficiencies in Technical Failure Reports and Unsatisfactory Condition Reports.
+ Analyzing Statements of Operational Requirements.
+ Reviewing Technical Data Packages.



Additional Information



Initial contract period: ASAP to March 2026 with strong possibility of extension. Must hold a valid Secret clearance with PSPC for this contract. Work needs to be done on-site on a full-time basis. (as per client requirement)

Controlled Goods Assessment also required.
