About the Role:

The Head of Project Finance will lead financing strategy and execution for ClearSky's global carbon projects, securing debt, equity, and blended finance solutions. The ideal candidate has senior-level experience structuring project finance for infrastructure, renewable energy, or environmental projects, with a strong understanding of carbon markets and investor expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all project finance activities, from structuring to execution, across carbon and climate projects. Build partnerships with financial institutions, impact investors, development banks, and corporate financiers. Develop innovative financing solutions that align with carbon monetization and registry requirements. Conduct financial modeling and risk assessments to support project approval and investor due diligence. Advise on capital allocation strategies to maximize returns and minimize risk. Support project developers and advisory teams in integrating financing into early-stage structuring.

Qualifications:

12+ years in project finance, with experience in renewable energy, natural capital, or carbon projects. Relevant education and work experience, including some experience in business development. Proven track record closing complex project finance transactions. Strong understanding of debt/equity structures, blended finance, and guarantees. Existing relationships with banks, DFIs, and impact investors. Exceptional financial modeling and structuring skills.
