Reporting to the Manager, Joint Venture and Long Range Planning, this position is responsible for stewarding our Atlantic Region JVs, supporting internal and joint venture approvals and working closely with the broader Atlantic Region team and joint venture partners to deliver on strategic objectives for the assets and strengthen joint venture partnerships. The ideal candidate will deliver clear information and key messages to stakeholders and decisions makers, as well as have the ability to collaborate seamlessly across a variety of business units.This position is located at our St. Johns NL office.What youll do:Maintain an oversight of ongoing project operations for both operated and non-operated assets, including an understanding of risks and opportunitiesPartner with Atlantic Region business teams to prepare and communicate updates to management and stakeholders to support effective decision-making. This includes co-coordinating and facilitating management and subcommittee meetings for our operated assetsParticipate in Atlantic Region forecasts and long range plans, coordinating with internal teams and joint venture partners for approvalsParticipate in the review and approval of incoming and outgoing mail ballots and Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) requestsAssist with economic evaluations related to business strategy development and long range planningPartner with management and technical representatives to advance strategic planning initiatives and optimize the value of key joint venturesAct as a point of contact and cultivate positive relationships with joint venture partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration for mutual successProvide guidance and support to Atlantic Region business teamsWho you are:Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:Legally authorized to work in CanadaPost-secondary degree in Business, Engineering or related fieldMinimum 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably in oil and gasProfessional accounting designation (CPA), Professional engineer (P.
