Job Title: Senior Java and Python Developer (with AWS skills)Project Description



We are seeking a

Senior Software Engineer

with strong expertise in

Java, Python, and cloud technologies

to join our dynamic development team. This role requires a hands-on technologist with excellent design and analytical skills who can deliver scalable and reliable solutions. Experience in

data-intensive applications

book of record technologies

, and

capital markets

is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications and services using

Java, Python, and AWS

. Apply strong software engineering principles to build

scalable, secure, and efficient solutions

. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Contribute to architectural discussions and influence design decisions. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Note

: This role requires

4 days of on-site presence per week

.

Required Skills (Must Have)



Programming Languages

: Proficiency in

Java

and/or

Python

.

Cloud Technologies

: Hands-on experience with

AWS

.

Architecture & Design

: Strong background in

software architecture, system analysis, and scalable solution design

.

Development Best Practices

: Expertise in writing

clean, efficient, maintainable code

and conducting code reviews.

Nice to Have



Domain Knowledge

: Exposure to

capital markets

or

financial systems

.

Book of Record Systems

: Experience with

Murex

or similar technologies.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
