Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery Governance:

Drive ITIL-aligned service delivery governance across all infrastructure services, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to enterprise risk and compliance frameworks.

Stakeholder & Financial Management:

Engage with senior business and technology stakeholders to align infrastructure strategy with organizational goals. Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost optimization for service delivery functions.

Infrastructure Program Oversight:

Govern the end-to-end delivery of high-availability

network infrastructure projects

-- including

WAN/LAN, datacenter, and firewall implementations

-- from initiation through operational handover.

Vulnerability & Patching Lifecycle Management:

Lead governance for automated

vulnerability management

and

patching programs

, ensuring SLA adherence, audit readiness, and clear reporting on enterprise risk posture to executive leadership.

Cloud & CDN Transformation:

Provide strategic direction and governance for

CDN migration initiatives

, especially with

Cloudflare

, managing

WAF

,

DNS

, and

DDoS mitigation services

to enhance security and performance.

Risk Translation & Communication:

Articulate complex technical and operational risks -- such as critical vulnerabilities, network dependencies, and migration impacts -- into business-focused language to support informed decision-making and risk acceptance at the executive level.

Qualifications & Experience

10+ years of progressive experience in IT service delivery and infrastructure governance within the financial services or banking sector. Proven expertise with

ITIL frameworks

and

enterprise service management processes

. Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar infrastructure portfolios and large vendor ecosystems. Strong understanding of

network technologies

,

datacenter operations

, and

security architecture

. Hands-on experience governing

Cloudflare or similar CDN platforms

. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Certifications

ITIL v4 Expert or Managing Professional PMP or Prince2 CISSP or CISM (an asset)
