Location: Onsite/Hybrid, Ontario Government Bldg, 1 Stone Rd W Guelph, Ontario N1G 4Y2.
Our client is seeking a Senior IT Enterprise Architect/Strategist
Key Deliverables for Senior IT Enterprise Architect/Strategist:
Product Requirements: Analyze government and organizational information to define business architecture needs. Conduct workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Product Delivery: Develop and maintain business capability models, architecture artifacts, and blueprints under the Enterprise Information Architecture (EIA) Federated Framework. Ensure vertical integration of solutions and alignment with corporate strategy.
Prioritization: Recommend and implement EA strategies that support transformation initiatives. Map capabilities to internal and external resources, ensuring operational efficiency and strategic alignment across projects.
Collaboration: Lead engagement with executives, senior management, and cross-functional teams including architects, project leads, and developers. Facilitate governance processes, design walkthroughs, and consensus-building to ensure successful delivery of enterprise-level solutions.
Must haves:
Total IT experience of at least 10 years, out of which 5 years doing Business Architecture on large complex projects
?Excellent communication, concept visualization, facilitation, stakeholder management, negotiation, consensus building, and problem- solving skills.
Experience collaborating with executives and senior management.
Experience in developing business architectures using Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture methodologies and GO-ITS.
Knowledge of or experience in the Government of Ontario Information Technology Standards (GO-ITS) for Architecture.
Development of Program Area(s) Business Architecture and corresponding Business Architecture Documentation (BAD) according to OPS standards and industry best practices.
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture modelling tools e.g. Power Designer, Visio, etc.
