The successful candidate will be offered an appointment, which is in accordance with the Faculty Service Officer Agreement. This position has a comprehensive benefits package and an annual salary range of $80,635 to $112,111.

The Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled Senior Imaging Scientist and Director to lead the Cell Imaging Core. This individual will be a key expert in light and electron microscopy, overseeing all operations and research within the facility.
Reporting to the Department Chair of Cell Biology and accountable to the Vice Dean of Research, this role is crucial for driving research innovation and providing essential teaching and service to the department. The Director will manage an annual budget of more than $400,000, supervise a team of three technologists, and play a vital role in supporting over 200 users from more than 100 research groups annually. The ability to collaborate with and train a diverse range of users, from undergraduate students to experienced Principal Investigators, is essential.
