Job Overview

:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Specialist with 5-8 years of relevant experience and a strong focus on recruitment, process improvement, onboarding, employee experience, and HR analytics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving positive employee experiences while supporting the organization in developing and implementing efficient HR processes. A certification such as CPHR, SHRM, or RPR is preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities

:

Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top talent to meet the HeavyAero's needs Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop recruitment strategies Use data-driven approaches to streamline recruitment processes and improve time-to-fill metrics Develop, manage and oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires have a positive experience and are quickly integrated into the company culture Continuously improve onboarding and offboarding procedures for a seamless transition for both new hires and exiting employees Identify opportunities to optimize HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and performance management Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction through surveys, feedback sessions, and proactive initiatives Act as a key point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns related to HR policies, procedures, and workplace culture Utilize HR data and analytics to provide insights on workforce trends, recruitment performance, turnover rates, and employee engagement Produce regular reports and dashboards to inform decision-making and support continuous improvement in HR practices

Qualifications

:

5-8 years of HR experience with a focus on recruitment, process improvement, and employee experience Certification in CPHR, SHRM, or RPR is preferred Proven experience with HR analytics and data-driven decision-making Strong understanding of onboarding best practices and employee engagement strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in HRIS systems and applicant tracking software (ATS)

Preferred

:

Experience in a fast-paced or growing industry, aviation, MRO experience is an asset Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
