Human Resources Manager

to lead and develop our HR department. This strategic role will be instrumental in shaping HR initiatives that support our workforce, culture, and organizational goals.

You must be a Canadian Citizen or have a Permanent Residency to qualify for this position.

Position Overview:



The Senior

Human Resources Manager

will be responsible for designing and implementing HR strategies that align with Sparta Manufacturing's long-term vision. This role will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:Strategic HR Leadership:



Develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency. Serve as a strategic advisor to senior management on HR matters, workforce planning, and talent management. Establish and oversee HR policies and programs that foster a strong workplace culture and employee engagement.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:



Lead innovative recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent. Oversee workforce planning and collaborate with department heads to align staffing needs with business objectives. Enhance employer branding efforts to position Sparta Manufacturing as an employer of choice.

Employee Relations & Engagement:



Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages employee engagement and development. Act as a mediator for workplace conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent resolution processes. Develop initiatives that enhance company culture, diversity, and employee well-being.

Performance & Talent Development:



Implement and oversee performance management systems to drive employee growth and accountability. Develop leadership development programs and career progression pathways for employees. Provide coaching and support to managers in handling performance-related matters.

Compliance & HR Operations:



Ensure adherence to federal, provincial, and local labor laws and regulations. Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal standards. Manage compensation, benefits, and HR technology solutions to enhance efficiency and employee experience.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of

5+ years

of progressive HR experience, with at least

2 years in a leadership role

. Proven expertise in HR strategy development, talent management, and organizational leadership. Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in

English and French

(bilingualism required). Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset. Demonstrated ability to drive change, foster innovation, and build strong relationships across all levels of an organization.

Compensation & Benefits:



Salary Range:

$85,000 (based on experience).

Vacation:

3 weeks paid vacation.
