Established in 1960, Perimeter Aviation LP is a diversified company that is a subsidiary of the Exchange Income Corporation which has recently grown through the merger with Bearskin Airlines. With approximately 900 employees, we operate a fleet of 45+ aircraft including the Metro 2, 3, 23, Merlin and Dash 8 aircraft. We are based in Winnipeg and Thompson, Manitoba as well as Sioux Lookout, Timmins, Thunder Bay, and Toronto Ontario. We provide scheduled passenger and freight services to Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario, 24/7 North American charter services, Medical evacuation services and a full-service maintenance facility including design engineering, NDT, and Garrett turbine engine services.

Position Summary

1. Reporting to Vice-President, People & Culture



2. The Sr. HRBP is responsible for:



Collaboration with all managers and employees to facilitate critical HR functions, including safety, labor relations, performance management, recruitment, workforce planning, and employee relations. The incumbent will be responsible for contributing to day-to-day HR duties such as, but not limited to: HRIS management and support, handling internal/external correspondence that comes through the HR inbox as well as personal inbox, management support, internal investigations and all other HR support as required.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Strategic HR Partnerships - Serve as a trusted advisor to managers, employees and collaborating centers of expertise to implement strategies that align with business objectives. Employee & Labour Relations - Address employee concerns. Performance Management for all non-union and union concerns. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal requirements, conducting investigations and representing the organization at grievances and union negotiations Full cycle recruitment. Attend events applicable to role including job fairs, expos, community events etc. Responsible for oversight of Annual Employment Equity Report Provide assistance and direction pertaining to both employee and management inquiries and concerns Diversity, Equity & Inclusion - Champion DEI initiatives to create an inclusive workplace that fosters employee success and belonging. Employee Engagement & Onboarding - Enhance onboarding processes, improve new hire experiences, and implement engagement strategies that drive retention. Provide ongoing HR support in the absence of the VP People & Culture Perform additional duties/projects as assigned

Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications

CPHR designation required 6 - 8 years of Human Resources Management experience, at a senior level, required in a unionized environment University degree and/or college diploma in business administration and/or human resources or a related field, preferred. Experience managing internal investigations and complaint resolution Knowledge of Canada Labour Code considered an asset Experience in union negotiations as well as the grievance process Solid understanding of and experience with full cycle recruitment Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations if required Advanced knowledge of office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Advanced understanding of HRIS systems, ability to run reports and navigate system. Previous experience with Ceridian Dayforce is required or an asset

Working Conditions

Physically able to perform all listed job duties Travel by flight required, which may include overnight travel Attend and participate in offsite company events, including community or base events, job fairs and other recruiting events Work performed primarily in an office environment Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephone Company phone will be provided, along with laptop Work independently as well as in a team Contact with staff and general public
