This strategic role reports to the Global Director People Team and serves as the lead People Partner for the CTO (Chief Technology Office), Engineering, and Product Management functions globally. You will collaborate with senior leaders, executive team members, and the broader People Team to align people strategies with business priorities, drive transformation, and ensure operational excellence across both global and regional scopes.

Strategic Business Partnership
Serve as the primary Senior People Partner for CTO, Engineering and Product Management globally.
Identify and lead people initiatives that address strategic business needs and support organizational growth.
Build strategic workforce plans in partnership with business and finance leadership.
Partner with senior leaders to drive transformation and organizational design aligned with future talent needs.
Use people-related metrics to inform business decisions.

Operational Excellence
Be a point of contact for
managers and employees
in partnership with Regional People Partners.
Support and facilitate organizational design and development in collaboration with global and local stakeholders.
Deliver compensation related programming. Support rewards and recognition opportunities in support of respective business areas.

Talent & Culture Development
Lead talent planning, career mapping, and succession planning for critical roles.
Champion Wind River's culture and values, driving inclusivity and a growth mindset.
Implement and communicate core People policies, programs, and practices.
Drive employee engagement initiatives to sustain high levels of performance and satisfaction.

Collaboration & Communication
Actively engage with the global People Team and COE Leads to ensure alignment and execution of strategies.
Facilitate sharing of best practices and learnings across the People Team.
Build strong relationships with senior leaders through frequent communication and coaching.

Experience & Expertise
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic business partnership in people partner support to
Software Engineering
/PM/CTO functions.
Tech Industry experience required
International exposure and ability to work across cultures.
Strong foundation in business fundamentals, organizational planning, and financial acumen.
Demonstrated success in coaching, talent/performance management, and employee engagement.
University degree in business, human resources or related education.
Human resources designation, HRPA and/or SHRM membership an asset.
Must reside in either Walnut Creek, CA or Ottawa, Canada areas with ability to be present on site at least 3 days/weekly.
Must be legally able to work in the U.S. or Canada without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer at any time.
Travel required (regionally). International travel may be required

COMPENSATION:
The annual base salary range for this role's listed grade level is currently $147,600 to $200,000 plus a bonus for SF Bay Area residents only. Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities of the applicant, and equity with other team members.
